In 2008, The Message Builder was founded by Nathan Kotek after a simple observation—it’s hard for companies to bring their business strategy to life into a coherent and creative story.

It’s a challenge to be heard in today’s noisy world of confusing company categories, buzzword content, social media hype, and mistrusted brands. How to adapt your company business story in this fast-paced world of constant change—disruptive technology, digital innovation, new social-economic, and environmental perspectives, and an increasing cry for transparency and purpose. Never before has it been so complex to get your company message right. Companies have not adapted to this reality.

This mismatch led Nathan Kotek to create Message Building™: a transformational Harvard research-based company storytelling method to overcome this challenge. Because in a world where everyone looks and sounds the same, you need breakthrough messaging—to differentiate and stand out. Our vision: your story is your strategy, and your strategy is your story.

Our track record is in technology and innovation. Our clients are start-ups, scale-ups, and corporate clients. We work with executive teams responsible for strategy, sales, marketing, and branding, and innovation. Further, we engage in M&A and growth financing deal-making. In these projects, we act as a trusted positioning, messaging, and branding partner for entrepreneurs and investors planning to sell their businesses or build by acquisition.

The Message Builder works with a team of specialists, all with their own expertise and track record. Over the years, deep relationships are built with M&A advisors, private equity firms, serial entrepreneurs, and industry analysts  (background with Forrester Research, Gartner and Ovum).
